Our Deck Restoration Process

Step 1. Analyze the deck
We inspect the condition of your deck or fence, the quality of the wood, the type of wood, need for repairs such as board replacement, cracks, warps, tighten screws, sun or water damage.

We then discuss with you the best type of stains/sealers and colours to be used for your project and provide a detailed written estimate.
Step 2. Clean and Neutralize.
We professionally clean the wood with our unique cleaning system and quality, environmentally friendly products.

Our unique system removes dirt and debris, leaving the pores of the wood open to allow the stain to better penetrate. We neutralize the pH level in the wood in order for the stain to adhere properly to the wood for better penetration and longevity of the sealer.
Step 3. Sand, Stain/Seal
We provide a light sanding of the boards, floor, rails and stairs to remove any rough patches and to allow the sealer to adhere evenly.

Next, we use the stain/sealer previously chosen by you and our quality crew will complete the project with professionalism and care, taking ultimate pride in their work.

Interlocking Stone Services

Interlocking stone that is not properly maintained is subject to shifting, sinking, and cracking, as well as moss and weeds growing in the joints.

We specialize in stone cleaning, sanding, and sealing hard-scape surfaces. To start, we begin with an efflorescent cleaning of the stone. The cleaning process also removes dirt and weeds from the joints, leaving a clean area for the next step which involves filling the joints with polymeric sand. This prevents weeds and stones from shifting.

Our Stone Restoration Process

Step 1. Evaluate the stone
We look in particular for stone shifting, sinking, and cracking as well as moss and weeds growing in the joints. At this point, we provide a written estimate.
Step 2. Cleaning
Using our unique cleaning system, we apply our environmentally friendly efflorescence cleaner. This cleaner removes discolouration and salts from the stone allowing the original tones and brightness to return like new. This cleaning system removes weeds and debris thoroughly and efficiently with little to no mess.
Step 3. Dry, Sand, and Seal
A minimum of 24 hours of drying time is required before the Polymeric Sand can be applied to the stone joints. This sanding system allows the Polymeric Sand to harden, preventing stone shifting and slowing the re-growth of weeds.

Following the installation of the Polymeric Sand, we then apply water to the area. This step will activate the hardening of the Polymeric Sand. A minimum of 24 hours of drying time is required for this step.

When our professional crew is confident the Polymeric Sand is at the correct texture, we then apply the Sealant previously chosen by you. The Sealer provides stabilization of the Polymeric Sand, inhibits stains as well as provides UV protection against fading of the stones.

In all, this project requires a minimum of 3 dry days to complete.
